Summer is here, and Darling Darlings Cat Lounge is running summer hours (March to September): Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am – 3:45 pm , with the last session at 3 pm. Located at 57A Marine Parade , just opposite the horse & carriages near Britannia Pier, we’re one of the most beloved coastal cafés in Great Yarmouth. π Booking & Voice Message Policy We strongly recommend booking in advance —sessions fill up fast, especially during summer weekends Call at 01493 857450 between 8:30 am and 9:45 am , as lines are often busy later in the day If we don’t answer— please don’t keep ringing repeatedly . Leave us a voice message with: Your date and preferred time Full name Number of people (include ages under 12) Any food allergies or dietary requirements Mobile number We’ll return all calls in the order messages are received and confirm your slot promptly β
What We Need to Finalise Your Booking Here’s a checklist of all booking details required (as per our How to Book page) π
Date and hour-long session (we operate on the hour) π§π€π§ Names of attendees , including children under 12 and their ages π° Any dietary restrictions (vegan, nut allergies, etc.) π± Mobile phone number π If booking an Afternoon Tea or Cream Tea , please notify us at least 48 hours in advance so we can prepare the freshly baked scones π Want a birthday package ? Let us know when booking— £20 for the birthday person includes entry, food, drink, and a gift/card π Planning Your Visit: Parking Tips Located right on the seafront, parking can get busy quickly. We strongly advise: Allowing plenty of time to park Be prepared to park a short distance away and enjoy a scenic walk Aim to arrive 5 minutes before your session , so you can catch the house rules talk and settle in comfortably π What to Expect When You Visit We’re one of the most affordable cat lounges in the UK — just £3 per adult and £2 per child under 12 (under 1-year-old is free) Each session lasts 50 minutes in summer (shortened to 45 minutes for the 3 pm slot) to allow for cleaning and rest time for our feline stars You’ll enjoy a cosy retro-themed lounge with vintage décor from the 1950s onward—and of course, friendly, therapy-trained cats: Coconut, Teddy, Stanley, Maverick, Ernie, and Olive π Quick Booking Cheat Sheet 1. Call early Between 8:30–9:45 am at 01493 8574502. 2. Leave a message If you get voicemail— briefly state all required info 3. Pay deposit We take payment over the phone so be prepared. 4.
