How to book with us! 

Like all Cat Cafes across the UK we have to charge an entrance fee, we are proud to say we are one of the cheapest in the country at £3 for those 12+ and £2 for those under 12 (Free for babies under 1 year). We also have to do this due to the running costs and our licenses which is considerably more to run than compared to you regular day to day café.

When booking with us we do require to speak with you over the phone. We have a fair amount of information to go through, and reading it all online can be overwhelming. Once we've clarified some details with you regarding dates, times and amount of people joining us; to confirm bookings we require the entry to be paid in advance. This guarantees the booking has been confirmed for your party as sadly on too many occasions we have had people book, followed by a no show which had lead to others being turned away as we've expected those who booked, to turn up. Once your entry booking confirmation has been paid, you won't need to pay anything else until you're with us - of course depending whether you have ordered food or drink.

However; we need to express we that we CANNOT guarantee entry if you turn up for a session without prior notice or a booking, we do get booked up very quickly which is why we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment on the day.

Make sure to give us a call between 8:30 - 9:45 as lines are hard to reach throughout the day as we are a small team. However, feel free to leave us a voice message at any time and we will get back to you as soon as possible (Please remember to leave a contact number as we wont be able to reach you otherwise).

Now you that know the methods of booking with us, let us inform you of the information we need to book you in.

• Date and time (We can't get you a booking if we don't know when)
• First and Last name (We like to be polite and know who we're speaking with) 
• How many people (Please mention any children under 12 and their ages. We have to have a similar ratio between cats and little ones for safety and preventing anyone getting overwhelmed)
• Any food allergies or intolerances. (Peanut Allergy? Dairy free? Vegan?)
• Mobile Number.

It's very important to remember we work on the hour , this allows us to manage time better along with our clean downs at the end of each session; allowing the cats to have an intermission from their fanbase too. With 3pm being our last session in the summer and 2pm being our last session in the winter. Each session lasting a total of 50 minutes with the last session only last 45 minutes..

You may be asking why we need to know how many children and their ages? As its for the cats protection and running in line with the Animal Welfare Act, we cannot have more children to the number of the cats at any point. 

If you would like our Afternoon Tea or Cream Tea menus,  it is important to tell us while booking as we do prepare the scones fresh on the day. (we do require 48 hours notice minimum per standard)

We ask for a mobile number for a couple of reasons.

1.  For the entrance fee which we take ahead of schedule by sending a text message to your mobile number, which will contain details where you can go online to our page and pay it securely. The entrance fee is what you would have to pay to enter the premises. Please note this is a non-refundable fee ; but we understand plans do change so if you can't make your original booking, please give us 24 hours notice to reschedule or your entrance fee will be lost. 
2. For lost property should you leave anything behind. 

We also offer Birthday packages! For those under 12 its £18. For anyone 12+, £20. The cost includes the birthday person's entry, item of food and drink, as well as a gift on behalf of us here at Darling Darlings. For any finer details please feel free to ask when booking.
