The summer for 2023 is in full swing and already it has been incredibly busy here at Darling Darlings. So before we get deeper into the madness lets discuss what is to be expected here at the Cat Lounge this summer.

We highly advise booking ahead; this can't be stressed enough as its a question we get often. It's the summer time and its already very busy so to avoid disappointment we do advise strongly to book ahead. So head over to our 'How To Book' page and give us a call.

Phone lines are open between 8:30-945am everyday except for a Monday when we are closed. But our answer phone is available 24/7 throughout the entire year. So please leave us a message and we will get back to you by our earlier convenience.

Please remember we are a small team and can't answer the phone when it is busy in store. Repeatedly phoning, and not listening to our answer phone message, will not get us to answer any quicker. We want to keep everyone happy and by following these guidelines will make a quicker and more effective booking experience.

Parking and arriving on time; being on the seafront parking is always going to be a challenge and especially during the summer. When you book with us we do warn everyone about planning ahead as parking can sometimes be forty minutes away. So we do urge everyone to give yourself ample time as during the summer it is very busy and being a small team we cannot afford to go over your schedule slot.

It's your responsibility to arrive on time!

Sessions; they are all fifty minutes long starting on the hour. Three o'clock session is five minutes shorter to give us time to remove the cats off the premises when they are taken home.

This also means three o'clock is the only one you can't book ahead and is only available as a walk in session. Allowing those with serve anxiety talking over the phone or those that can't book ahead the chance to join us here at Darling Darlings.

It's very important to note that it's first come, first served.

We find the older generations and many vulnerable people come in at this time. So to cover all bases and all needs we try to make this our quiet session being our last session of the day.

Olive; we often get asked the question about when our new cat is joining us here at the Cat Lounge. Being a young cat we never want to overwhelm them with life at the café straight away. But we can happily say Princess Olive has gotten on very well and already settling in like its her second home. We are now just waiting for the council to update our licence before we can fully bring her into the fold.
